IfBarkley is just as good, his problem has always been the mental side of tthings. If he has matured and can consistently show in-game intelligence then he will be a top class player.

Yeah - it’s a big if!
He really should of played for England last night, the side who.played was awful, he easily could of teamed up better with GrealishBarkley is just as good, his problem has always been the mental side of things. Southgate is just a terrible manager. Got lucky with a fluke easy run at the World Cup.He really should of played for England last night, the side who.played was awful, he easily could of teamed up better with Grealish
Pretty much.Southgate is just a terrible manager. Got lucky with a fluke easy run at the World Cup.
Needed runners last night to get in behind their back 4, too much ball to feet, was and is tedious to watch England for some years now.He really should of played for England last night, the side who.played was awful, he easily could of teamed up better with Grealish
Yeah right. Crap like Winks gets a game, but Barkley doesn't, despite excellent form at Villa. The upside is far higher than potential negatives.Needed runners last night to get in behind their back 4, too much ball to feet, was and is tedious to watch England for some years now.
Barkley professionalism will always be questioned, that's just him and a generation too late for getting away with being "daft as a brush".
And no-one doubts his ability to play nice attacking football, just he can disappear and be a liability just as much, small margins in football these days...
Marco silva will be next england managerYeah right. Crap like Winks gets a game, but Barkley doesn't, despite excellent form at Villa. The upside is far higher than potential negatives.
Antonio is one of the best scorers in the league at the moment and doesn't get a sniff (albeit he is injured, but he was in great form and overlooked before.) Southgate is hopeless.
Big SamMarco silva will be next england manager
if ronald and bobby are anything to go by
I genuinely don’t think Silva will get another club job ever again.Marco silva will be next england manager

Barkley reminds me a bit of Gazza, or Cantona - if you took them in their primes and parachuted them into 2020 prem football. They might still be pretty good, because class is class, but they wouldn't be all that influential because slow is slow.Needed runners last night to get in behind their back 4, too much ball to feet, was and is tedious to watch England for some years now.
