Think it's why Barkkes is divisive he should have been so much more and as of fans football and Everton we feel it more than other club fans, it's was a shame.

Well, that and, for some reason, he thinks the club treated him horribly. So much, in fact, that he deleted everything about him and Everton and got his Everton tattoos removed as well. So he decided to get back at them by turning down a move that would have made the club about 15-20m more whilst he sat on his arse "injured".

He strikes me as someone who is easily influenced. That decision and move made some people richer.
 

Yes financially. But he's now on loan at Aston Villa, he could've achieved much more. And if he's going to use his wealth as a barometer of success during his career rather than trophies like you indicated then I'm glad we got rid.

I wonder about him physically to be honest though

Part of me thinks he squeezed everything he could out of that Chelsea move because he knew he didn't have much longer left and he wanted to make his money whilst he still could. I remember seeing pictures of the scars from the stitches he had due to that injury. It looked gnarly to say the least. He might be physically finished
 

Villa are probably being underrated right now. I mean if you think Everton or Leicester can push CL right now then given their points total and the extra couple of games I think you have to include Villa in that category. I don't think most people are doing that.
