Ross gives you a fear factor IMO. Players know how powerful he is and theres no English Midfielder that can take the ball from one box to the other IMO. He runs with pace and power and that scares teams, without him we've lost an edge. Naismith has done superbly, but he simply cant do what Ross can.

International break coming at a good time then if that is the case. Hopefully he will be back in the team for the Villa game on the 18th.

Martinez says back in normal training next Wednesday, then a few more weeks to get match fitness and slotting back into the team. So maybe the Swansea or Lille home games.

Pleased that he will soon be in full training.

He was pretty poor for a few weeks after coming back from the toe injury last season and this injury was far more serious. It might take him a while get up to speed - hope he is given time before people start getting on his back.

To an extent not that anyone wants any of our players injured, but if one of our players would have benefited from a rest - it's Ross, his first full PL season, followed by playing through the summer, to start straight in to that "second season"! He would have been playing non stop for almost two calendar years!
