...I wonder, I just wonder if a deal has been done with City. Might be well off, but his attitude has been poor and in the last transfer window Collymore spoke of it as if it was happening. Possible ground move need to generate some monies. Probably putting two and two together and making five. If there is an agreement I wouldn't be surprised if City get cold feet.

Tbh mate I reckon he's just read too much into the hype surrounding him last season and has gotten a bit arrogant and lazy.

Still got talent but I'd question the attitude at the mo...
 
I thought he was poor first half and good 2nd half.

Right from the off he was actually sprinting to close opponents down in the 2nd half and was looking to play it forward. Rom was unlucky not to score from his pass and shouldn't have been offside from another.

On the ball he is far more composed with a better range of passing than anyone we have in attack however he still need to work harder.

A positive half but nothing more than that.

He just needs managing properly.
You know what will happen he will go to another club and be brilliant.

It takes a while for players to fully trust their bodies after an injury. Look at the form of Kompany at the moment or even Messi last season. I'm hoping its just that and the drop in confidence caused by that plus a bit of 2nd season syndrome from him too.

If he stays in the summer I think he'll be back to his best next season.

Just excuse after excuse for this lad. Every bodies fault but his.

Could it simply be that he's not all that good?

Agree it's his own fault but I do think he's good.

Maybe it's lack of confidence, over-confidence, something else, I dunno.

Lad's got talent though

.....I'm not so sure, Matty. Once they are out on the pitch the best players perform. They have an attitude and ability which imposes itself on games. He's at a stage where he should be doing that, there should be no excuse. He should deliver but he's not and that is an increasing concern.
