Tbf that can be said about 90% of the team this season. (Stinking the place out)

There's alot of reasons he's not been as good this season. And a lot of it hasn't been his fault.

We're very lucky to have him.
 
Everything he touched last season seemed to find the back of the net. It was probably unrealstic to think it was going to be that easy again.
 

I think the frustrating thing with ross is that he shows glimpses of pure class. The weight he put on that through ball to Lennon yesterday was so perfect. It was the type of pass that only the best players try. Most would've played it too hard and wide to ensure the maintenance of possession but he took the risk and it was sublime. I know he has had a poor season but its these little glimpses that make me confident that he can find some consistency and develop into a brilliant player.
 
Yes McCarthy too, did mention Garbutt and there are one or two under 21 players knocking on the door, too. We have a brill squad bit the style of football until last week was mind numbing.
 
I hope that gives him the confidence he needs. I thought he had a great little cameo. Nearly got two goals and he actually put a shift in chasing down the opposition sliding into tackles. Good on the lad.
 

Barring that goal line block would have scored two in his brief appearance. Really what I'm looking for him to do is make a mark on some games and contribute something in an attackin sense as well as working harder for the team defensively. Build his confidence back up and we'll see more of last season's Ross.

Agreed. I think his confidence was gone, so this final push in the season is crucial for him no matter where we are in the table. Hopefully he regains confidence and flies under the radar into next season.
