I think also its because he's had a poor season and needs the confidence boost and probably has a bit of his directness battered out of him.

However forget this season as a poor one and lets just see it as a learning one.

Roy was right. Everyone expected too much too soon and with the injury it didn't help but in a few seasons he'll be a class act.

Maybe the difference between the two halfs taught Roy that lesson. At the highest level you need a perfect touch and good passing because there just isn't the space.

He did well, he started well then wasn't involved at all for about 15 minutes but finished the game strongly.

His decision making still letting him down but i believe that will come with time.
