Ross Barkley

You do realise loads of kids play youth football and don't make it professionally right?

I know about eight people I went to school with who played academy football and do proper jobs now.

Think you've got the wrong end of the stick.

Just wanted to know who he is...

I think it will be a good move for him. Reading through there forums they need an attacking central midfielder. Cue Ross playing in advanced role. Brilliant

It's an utter disgrace Moyes has sent our most gifted young player since Rooney out to be managed by that talentless knob head Warnock I mean what is he supposed to learn there apart from how to kick people? It's pathetic and a joke really he'll he playing with El Hadj f*cking Diouf we may as well just send him to Iraq he'll come back a better footballer and person it just shows how much Moyes cares about the club and is one last kick in the face before be f*cks us off for Shalke you can do one Davey you dithering [Poor language removed] and take that nodding dog with you you're an utter joke treating our world class talents like this I wish he'd go now before the season finishes tbh we might have a crack at 4th then and may actually turn up for a cup game once.

Genuinely not sure if you're serious or not there.

I mean, I'm not a big fan of how Barkley is being handled, but that's a bit of an overreaction surely?!

I suppose it is an overreaction mate if you want him to end up like Baxter, Cadamarteri, Vaughan etc and rot in the lower leagues Davey would love to see that when he's on the continent sipping expensive wine on his villas balcony in Germany watching us sink like a stone from all his excessive spending. Ross would learn more from Les f*cking Parry than that fat headed bulb.

I think you genuinely have a problem mate.

Hmmm... You've got a point there actually. I wonder if Moyes is deliberately sabotaging our youth setup so that when he leaves his successor is screwed from the start.

Didn't think of that before... Or maybe he's just terrible at developing youngsters and it isn't done on purpose. I'd like to see us bring in Martinez as he has a proven track record with youngsters and that's definitely the way forward at Everton. That, and he'd probably have a clue tactically as well.

Let's just hope something changes before Ross gets tired of Moyes and jumps ship. Couldn't blame him if he does.

It all makes sense now doesn't it? If he leaves having destroyed our academy and the next manager does crap then he'll be considered better than he actually is, even if he isn't deliberately doing it the man is clearly a joke David Moyes FC my arse.

Martinez would be a coup for sure, he plays football the right way and is just unlucky that he's had no money he's a world class manager in my opinion and would take our glorious club back up to where it belongs, no more 90 minutes of hoofball tactics either.

Yeah the best thing for Ross to do now is to hand in a transfer request or he'll be working in Burger King in to time.

A little bit over the top IMHO.

However I dont know if Moyes is coming or going with some of the decisions recently.

Maybe over the 11 years of top flight football hes decided that he cant win nothing relying on youth and favours experienced players ten fold. Certainly looks that way.

Next season Moyes has no reason not to bring Ross into the mix for good. Hes had his season long loan and gained first team experience in the championship Ala David Beckham, a player he always refers to regarding youth loans.

I do like Martinez. I think he could turn us into an exciting team. Could he keep Moyes stability? I dont think so. Therefore I still back Moyes. For now

Just wanted to know who he is...

I'm a 17 year old who goes to college and plays for the County FA Under 19s as well as a Businesshouses division 2 side.

I think it's safe to say you won't know me.

Spot on.

I'd love Martinez or even Gus Poyet - someone to bring a bit of flair. We're playing OK now but we all know Moyes will revert to form sooner rather than later. We're too predictable and we only play well in fits and spurts when Baines and Pienaar click properly. When they're off form or ones injured, Moyes hasn't an igloo how to change it up.

I hope Ross does leave as he's a creative player and he's clearly not going to be allowed that freedom to create under the dour ginger - a club like Wigan or Reading would suit his development perfectly.
