Everton Football Club
Welcome to the Eppleton CW Ground in the North East where Everton Under-21s face Sunderland Under-21s. Kick off is at 7pm. Alan Stubbs' side for tonight's game is listed below...
Springthorpe, Stones, Garbutt, Molyneux, Browning, Pennington, Kennedy, Grant, Hope, McAleny, Junior (Subs: Griffiths, Long, Touray, Green, Jones).
I take he's starting tomorrow then? Hope he is.
Other players need rest though mate, we can't just keep Barkley waiting all his career.....have to say that I think we're in lumber if this kid plays. Simply not good enough at this present time and it's a sign of desparation that fans think he's the second coming.

...I understand the point completely, but bringing players in who are not up to it is a real gamble. Look what happened at Leeds. The squad isn't strong enough to rest players who look leggy. We missed the opportunity to gain momentum in the transfer window and for me our best chance is stick with our best X1 and hope they spark into a bit of form. If Barklay struggles to even get a game at Leeds it would be folly to play him tomorrow in such a crucial fixture.
Great point mate, the transfer window has made us limited in options....I understand the point completely, but bringing players in who are not up to it is a real gamble. Look what happened at Leeds.
