I don't think that the OS would misrepresent the team that Mr Stubbs has chosen to pick. Neither Barkley nor Velios are in the squad

....have to say that I think we're in lumber if this kid plays. Simply not good enough at this present time and it's a sign of desparation that fans think he's the second coming.
Other players need rest though mate, we can't just keep Barkley waiting all his career.

...I understand the point completely, but bringing players in who are not up to it is a real gamble. Look what happened at Leeds. The squad isn't strong enough to rest players who look leggy. We missed the opportunity to gain momentum in the transfer window and for me our best chance is stick with our best X1 and hope they spark into a bit of form. If Barklay struggles to even get a game at Leeds it would be folly to play him tomorrow in such a crucial fixture.

Oh but Oviedo is, along with Hitzlsperger and Neville.

Changing one player is nothing like what we did in the Leeds game. Ross needs games and before saying he couldnt get in the Leeds team do some homework on it. He'll be on the bench tomorrow.

Great point mate, the transfer window has made us limited in options.

Barkley is a big risk but never the less a prospect who can come up with the unexpected, in terms of player tiredness if Gibson and Osman are in need of rest, I'd take the risk with him.
