Ross Barkley

I posted a commentary from a website opining that Warnock had lost the plot because he wouldn't use Barkley.
Vellios is NOT miles away from Premier League on evidence
Oviedo would bring energy to the squad
Duffy I can't comment on as I haven't seen him play enough (imagine that)
Gueye was mentioned only because he was a young player we brought in.

What's the point of having younger players if you aren't going to use them?

is this paul lambert?

Vellios got a start versus Stoke and we effectively played with 10 men.
He got on versus Spurs and his miskick/freak touch got Jela in for the winner. I aint seen jack of Velly.
If Oviedo was any sort of specialist surely he would oust a AM like Pienaar who is shoehorned onto the left side.
Duffy is amazing to still be here, Jags was moved on well before Duffy was in terms of his career and opportunities - maybe he is the future but I get the feeling he is another Richard Dunne.
And Gueye is average. Not knocking him for it, we love a tryer, but see Pienaar and Oviedo.

Young players sound great, but name 5 home grown (in club,) young players cutting it at prem and european level now. [Bale doesnt count as he and Walcott are Southampton youth players....]

I agree with pretty much all of that, with the exception of Ovideo who I've got high hopes for. Inclined to think Moyes is easing him this year and that will benefit him in the long run.

Where Barkley's concerned I'd give him a far bigger role between now and the end of the season. We've got absolutely nothing to lose considering he'll offer more than the likes of Neville and Naismith ever have/will.

Would like to see him start a few games now and see what he made off and please throw Fellaini in midfield, would like to try this
Stones......Duffy.........Distin...........Baines (we need a new defender in the next window)
...............Gibson..................................
...Coleman.Fellaini....Pienaar
..........Barkley.............
.............Mirallas...............

I know it a young team and some major changes.

Did anyone else think he was going to let them score when he first came on and it bobbled off his leg, lad did good to recover and i thought he played well, he moves and looks for the ball at least. Get him in behind Jelavic, the seasons dead in the water now anyway and i think jelavic may reap the benefits of having a footballer behind him instead of a target man.

Agree with this

Mate we can't do this he's not ready. The red****e will catch us and it will be all Ross's fault. He needs at least another 4 years playing in the reserved or championship. Moyes knows because he sees him in training. He looked like a little schoolboy when he played against Chelsea.

All that above come from the brain dead fans mate.
