carl tiler would have looked good coming on today as to the players that were out there but with only league left hope barkley does get some starts now see if hes up to it or not nothing to lose

The amount of times Osman, Neville and fellani gave the ball away and not just today has had me more baffled as to why Barkley has not been given game time this season.

Nah we can't risk blooding young players in the hope of improving us in the future in case its costs us the odd league place now.

Every position counts so we have to keep playing the same old "reliable" players every game.

To be fair to Barkley he needs a decent run of games not just 10 mins here and there. He has to grow in confidence and get the feel of premiership football without pressure.

Pienaar was the main person giving balls away today. He was awful. Same with Baines

Yes it happens to everyone but it seems that Barkley is under the microscope and pounced upon for a loose ball yet the above mentioned can do it as often as they like. without any consequences.

to be fair he needs more than ten mins to show his talent as banno said the lad needs games between here and end of season
