Ross Barkley

Do you want a medal ?

You said he would be back in the team before the end of the season. Guess what ? Nobody cares. He should be in the squad whenever he's fully fit. Apparently that would be right now because he's playing internationals and playing for the reserves.

NO LAD. He wasn't ready. He almost is now.

YOU WUZ TOLD!

Quite right. David Moyes has said and implied how much he rates Ross Barkley. You could tell he couldn't contain his admiration for him. When asked - why did he say of anyone at Everton that Barkley was the one to watch.

Therefore you've got to consider that Moyes has much more of an eye on Barkley's entire career. Therefore is resisting the temptation to throw him in.

So he's ready to play internationals for the under 21's, and he's ready to play for the reserves, and he has been the highlight pretty much every time he has played for the first team, but he's 'only just ready'.

Bollocks.

I would be more inclined to believe what LCAB said, which was that there were discipline problems, rather than his football ability or health being the problem.

You have been preaching about the dangers of his double leg break and how his knees will explode like Nagasaki if he sets foot on the pitch at Goodison, and yet he plays at least one match a week, usually 90 minutes worth and also finds time to play International matches. His ability and health being the reason for him not featuring is utter, utter, ****e.

Damon I think it's obvious to everyone that Barkley will get a bit of game time towards the end of the season. But unfortunately April's about 7 months too late. He's played about 4 games worth this season whereas Neville has played nearly every one. April's too late, is it not?

You iz a virgin! And before I get told off for saying that it wuz chelsea! I hope I don't get banned but at least I'm not fox!

April? FFS whether he is ready or not isn't for any of us to decide but it's a piss take that we have to watch the team draw with QPR while he sits impotently on the bench. He could have made a difference on saturday.

No he couldn't have, apparently he's not 'ready' to be in the team ahead of Neville.

He can't even make a 20 minute cameo or anything. Even when we're beating a team 2-0 at home like we were against Chelsea, he can't possibly get a look in.

HES NOT READY LADS FFS.

So his knees werent made of explosives at the begining of the season?

Intresting

Damon, are you saying then in April, Moyes will pick him ahead of out of form/awful favourites like Neville?

If he's ready Moyes has as much said that himself. Barkley just needed more time, and more football in and around the U21's the reserves etc.

In his quote below:

David Moyes said:
"My intention is to reintroduce Ross back into the first-team squad and my idea was always to do it around April time," Moyes revealed. "I've told the boy what my thoughts were. I think he needed six months of games. I hear a lot of people asking where Ross is but he's not been ready to play in the team. But there are certainly signs that he is getting better now.

"I think it was for his own good. He needed the games and we've played him in the reserves and the youth team. We've tried to get as many games into him as possible because he missed a year and a half of football prior to that. He's missed so much football and now I'm looking to reintroduce him again towards the end of the season, when I think it's a bit easier to do."

You wuz told!

The only reason Moist is coy to play him is so other teams wouldn't put a bid in...

...which wouldn't have to be the case if he didn't have us already playing like a pack of c*nts.

If he starts giving him game time ahead of the likes of Neville, or subs Osman, Cahill or whoever when were chasing a game and gives Barkley 30 mins, I will doff my cap to you, at the moment it just words.

Provided he's fit and continues in form he'll play. Maybe even as early as this month.

The fumers can fume all they want. But thats how it'll be. They wuz told!
