We're 0-0 against bottom of the league Wigan at half time with 2 defensive midfielders already on the pitch and Tim Cahill gets injured...
Best get Phil Neville on there to make it 3 instead of Ross Barkley to try and win us the game!
Read it FFS. Laughing here that people believe that Moyes would deliberately leave Barkley out because he prefers a player who is nowhere near as good. It must have been tempting to throw the lad in especially given our poor form in the 1st half of the season. The decision not to was 1) for the player's own benefit and 2) for the long-term benefit of EFC. He was being lauded as our new hero by the fans, and when the inevitable dip in form happened, many fans would have been on his back. It's all about the bigger picture, and hopefully now that he has made up for lost time because of his injury, we will see the fruits of the patient approach taken by the manager.
I'd rather see him getting that extra six months... so he can shine FOR YEARS at Everton.
Than for us to throw him in and basically ruin him and not see him excel for us.
Players have been ruined by playing them for selfish reasons and not taking into account all the circumstances.
Torres is a good example right now.
No one (But me and a few others) would DARE say "he's not ready" on here. Anyone that did was thrown to the wolves...
Not me though.

Thats actually spot on
Benitez ran the lad into the ground
Not me though. I ripped them for not seeing it. Potentially ruining the lad. Selfish reasons was all they could give.
They wuz told![/B][/COLOR]
So because Moyes says he's not ready, it must be true.
He wasn't ready. You wuz told!
