he was very good when he came on against a very dynamic Spurs. Made one or two sloppy passes, but otherwise injected our central midfield with a strong positive presence.

osman can now only be called upon for the occassional cameo at best and the sooner he is put out to pasture the better for all concerned
 
Think it was a perfect example of not knowing "what you've got till it's gone" today...

We all know he's a great player and prospect but that today showed the massive difference he makes to our team and the way we play him being in it, aswell as the difference in speed we can attack with him there.

There will be times he needs taking out and giving a breather but hopefully not in anymore of the really big games pls Roberto!

I think it's more of a case of not having both him and Barry in the same midfield from the start. Barry was anonymous today and Osman is too lightweight. Think we need another midfielder in January.
 
There's also the fact that IMO in the 3 behind the striker you can get away with 1 slow player (Pienaar) , Osman in there two along with a off form mirallas really changes the dynamic of our play (this season) some games worse than others and this was definately one of those games.
