I think it's more of a case of not having both him and Barry in the same midfield from the start. Barry was anonymous today and Osman is too lightweight. Think we need another midfielder in January.

I thought Barry was very good today and if it wasn't for his reading of the game they would of got through us on a few occasions.

He covered back reasonably well. He just gets passed around and skipped past a fair bit as well when he's in the middle of the pitch. Well he was from where I was sitting.

Barkley made a big impact when he came on, it was a shame toward the end though to see Jelavic pointing to where he wanted the ball and Ross just couldn't pick the right pass. Then again, knowing Jelavic he'd have been offside.

He's made a good start to the season though, and he's only gonna get better.

Here's hoping he discovers his true potential against the RS!

Strange player Pienaar. Has a lovely quick turn and pick up in pace over 10 yards with the ball under total control............and then he passes.............and invariably the pass will be rushed and overhit or generally off target. You'd have though after 15 years playing at top level he'd have imporved that key part of his game.

How he was not subbed yesterday was a big surprise to me! his passing was gash!

He was my greatest source of frustration yesterday despite not being anywhere near the worst player on the pitch
Like has been seen above- great control, great tricky runs, but every single pass he made would go straight to a Spurs player. Very irritating.

For a creative midfielder he's got one of the worst final balls I've ever seen.

Like the lid though, great to watch when he's on form.
