No way we'll give them £16-£20m to take him, it'll be close the £5m that BMG mentioned above I reckon. Might be worth trying to sort a pre-contract agreement so we can get a deal done first day of the window and replace him with Benayoun at 11.59am on transfer deadline day.

Like your thinking on this....Benayoun is integral to whoever he plays for at the moment, a late swoop would really disrupt the team he is playing for plans.

Nor did I. Groucho did that for me. So technically that was never completed I don't think. They got to 99, I posted a picture of a narwhal and then Groucho completely discounted my contribution.
But what I'm trying to say is Ross Barkley though, yeah?
