I love how he's allowed to make mistakes.
Obviously making mistakes at Old Trafford is seriously bad, but Martinez has framed his 'inexperience' and 'arrogance' as an endearing trait that must be accepted. No one is counting mispasses anymore, or doubting him- they're just letting him go on. And so last night, where maybe he wasn't at his best, no harm done. Even if it were to have ended 0-0.

Wasn't at his best but still good enough. Very bright future for him and us
 


How else is the kid supposed to learn how to make better decisions unless he's allowed to play and make mistakes? He just needs to keep playing.
