His passing when he runs the ball in the final third is really poor, its something he has to work on. Apart from that there can't to much to complain about. He goes onto the park against some of the most highly rated players in the league and still manages to stand out. The way he can take a ball and advance play simply using his skill, pace and power is irreplaceable for us. He relieves us of so much pressure when the opposition has the upper hand. Extremely grateful to have him at the club.

agreed, at united he did take the wrong option/overhit a pass. He'll learn, if only we had martinez two years ago! Barkley would have been a much better player by now as well, with an abundance of experience. He's certainly stepped up in the big games for us, for sure.

some of the things he did today were simply phenomenal, they really were.

Ross Barkley superb on/off pitch 2day. Played superbly, said post match "never been interviewed, dead nervous but will give it a go" Top boy
Yeah. Normally I just think they're thick but I genuinely - and I hope no bias is creeping in here, I can't be sure - could feel his nerves and knew it was that which made the interview a bit monosyllabic and repetitive, no worse than many experienced players. I think when he comes out of his media shell he'll have alot more to say for himself.

He's f**king one of us, and he's f**king brilliant. He is the real heart of Everton in a way Rooney (utter [Poor language removed]) never was.

Love Ross. Love him.
