David Moyes is determined that Evertons highly promising youngster will get to realise his true potential at Old Trafford.

They really are dinosaurs over at OT...they still don't realise the meteorite has hit...plonkers

These Barkley to United rumours are laughable tbh.

Never been less arsed about a rumour about one of our players ever.

No way hes gonna go anywhere.

Didnt Moyes say he only had £90M to spend anyway? haha

he doesnt need to say anything. Just keep playing and sign a contract after xmas.

People need to calm down. He could have left anytime when he was 14/15/16 and all the other clubs were offering him and his family 'good will' gestures. He didnt then and he wont now.

People are justified to worry until he signs the contract in my opinion mate

He's a cracking player and it would be tragic to lose him. Not saying he wants to go or anything but you can never predict what will happen in football. It's an unpredictable leviathon

Why? Hes played 16 games at the end of the day and weve got a massive deal lined up for him.

Hes never once suggested ever leaving.

Hes got his entire arm tattooed with the date of his everton debut. Seriously the kid loves us. No qualms whatsoever about him going anywhere for a good few seasons..if ever - depending on how we can kick on under Martinez

I think the £30m smackers being offered by United in January might test our board's resolve....

...not for me, I think they might get a squeaky bum at £50m. Regardless, I'm not that sure Moyes would fully pursue the boy. He was clearly anxious about giving him a run when he was here, and he might get shown up if a move to United wasn't a success and more folk compare him to RM who is clearly getting the best out of the player.

I see no reason why Ross would move on anytime soon.

He's getting valuable first team football, while playing in a system that compliments his attributes.

He's thriving under Martinez. He wouldn't get this much playing time at Man City, Chelsea or Arsenal. That leaves United... Would he really like to play under Moyes again? Doubtful.

I'd bet my bottom dollar that he'll be for some time yet.

Because he hasn't signed a contract yet and a lot of teams could benefit from having him

It's natural to worry in that situation

please quantify that yet comment...Is he in the final 18 months of his deal and the club are ****ting themselves?

Or is he a 20 year old on what was great money for what was until this season, a kid with huge potential but no first team experience, now hes played 16 games and been told hes getting rewarded in Jan with a massive deal?

So where do people get YET from?

If it gets to March - having been told by the manager this week the club are preparing a new deal for him - then ill be saying yet myself.

But for now people need to get a grip IMHO

Though your concern for the mental state of posters on this board is admirable, I think being a dick to them is probably not going to assuage their fears in the way you would like

Just a thought
