He had his moments against Costa Rica as he has had all season long with Everton but he also was guilty of several mistakes at both ends of the pitch as well...I hope he gets some midfield help going into next season and he can really express himself on the pitch more consistently

I agree. We need a decent replacement for Barry, someone who can handle the defensive side whenever our fullbacks push on and also someone who can thread that ball between the lines whenever Barkley takes up the space in the hole.
We have Gibson but I wonder if Milner or Cleverly could also do a job there. There's also Garry Medel who will want a transfer out of Cardiff although perhaps he's better at CB.

Barkley needs another season to get his play sorted.
There will be bids next summer, if not this the mega rich clubs will try and snare him before he turns proper boss at a lower fee.
