Ross Barkley

If I were him, I'd leave. I wouldn't begrudge him at all if he did. The difference with him and Rooney is that Rooney was given the chance to be a talisman and should have stayed one or two more years (yes, stellar career since etc. but it was his boyhood club, he had years ahead of him and he wouldn't have exactly been on the dole here) whereas Barkley isn't even getting that.

"I wonder if that Scottish guy from man utd fancy's taking a punt on some young lad that just wants to play some football?? He did it with another young lad who once played a role as a bench player at this club and that young lad then got to play week in week out. "I do love it here as I'm sure the other lad.. Wayne I think it was.. Did, but sometimes you just have to move on in order to get some playing time" "I think that Manchester team even have a few injurys in midfield at the moment so you would think that could only help me get some games" " I may have to travel alot around Europe though to some of the biggest stadiums and teams in the world though over the next few years if I go there...
"oh what should I do"

Ross must have been wondering why he signed a new contract with us after warming the bench again yesterday. Just could not believe he cannot get a position in midfield when we where playing bloody Neville and Heitinga.
Absolutely sick of the ginger whinger - he has this myth that he gives youth a chance what a load of nonsense.

Had a look for him on Youtube, as I'd almost forgotten just how good he is. Came up with what must be every touch he got against Villareal in this neat video:

The way he seems to slow down time when he's in possession & enforce his pace on the midfield is engrossing. This clip, against weaker opposition in the form of DC United on what I think was his debut, is even better:

Some sublime moments of quick feet, running at defenders, creating space for a shot & snooker passes to the front men (something NO-ONE else in the team offers these days). From the United & Blackburn appearances Moyes would appear to be coaching these traits out of him. He looked nervous in possession, terrified to make a mistake & appeared lost out of position at wide left. We need him in the team, as the attacking fulcrum of a 5 man midfield alongside Landy, Felli, Rodders & Drenthe. That line-up will offer him creative freedom with more than ample protection from the midfield, & see his talent blossom rather than stifling it as we're currently seeing. I imagine Moyes has him training monotonous defensive routines & closing space, instead of giving him the fecking ball & letting him do the thngs that very few players can, certainly things that NO-ONE else in our squad is capable of.

Considering how we're crying, or rather screaming out for some creativity, it's criminal that he's hardly getting any minutes and hasn't even been on the bench in a lot of games

What I find ridiculous is he's the same age as Jack Wilshere was when he played against Barcelona in the Nou Camp, and even older than Mario Gotze when he won The Bundesliga almost single handedly with Dortmund. Yet he's still too young to get 10 minutes against Norwich or Swansea at home according to Moyes.

Normally I'm with the manager on these sorts of things, but geez, the guy has played 3 minutes in the last two months in the premier league.

...and WTF do we trust thebluefox? He can't even spell.

You can trust who you want lad , what's spelling got to do with trusting , put it this way mate what ever thebluefox doesn't know about Everton isn't worth knowing , I hear a lot of rumours on different sites what I do immediately is phone the Fox to confirm, in over 20 years he has kept me informed with a lot of things that go on at the club " behind closed door's" not only is he worth taking his word on , he's also as big as Evertonian as they come so you can either trust me because I can't spell or not , I won't loose any sleep and neither will foxy
