Think the abuse he's going to get either way is going to pretty large because of this whole protracted ordeal. If he leaves he will be leaving his boyhood club who are signing pretty class players and finally acting like a Premier League team.

I know what you are saying , but he has been here since he was 11.
so on both counts he will get the arm around the shoulder more and 40 million is a big money move , because of that fact of being a one club local 'everton kid' and not some paycheck chasing journeyman. just my opinion.
Do you have any evidence to back up these claims George?
He's over 35 and sits in the lower gwladys. What more proof does he need?
He obviously doesn't mean me Goat - I'm thirty three...??????????????????

I'd like him to stay but either way, just want this to be over with. Commit and tell us you're a boyhood blue who can't wait to play for Everton for years to come or ship out.
No mate. Give him every chance, let him live our dream.Get shut. He's shown his hand, he doesn't give a crap about the club or its supporters. Take the money and let him go, or don't take the money and let him stew for a year, either way.........
Perhaps nobody can be arsed with him for the fee we'd be looking for?Could a club please come and bid for him finally and end this misery with him ffs?!

He's not very good lads.
He wouldn't get anywhere near their first eleven imo Eggs, they've got Lamela coming back from injury too this pre season...I think it says a lot that top clubs and top managers are not queuing up for the lad. Unfortunately, only Spurs seem keen so there won't be a bidding war.
