Bottom line for me is that Sigurdsson will be an improvement. I like Barkley but he's so frustrating, if you're his manager you simply don't know what you'll get when he goes onto the pitch. I'm afraid that's not good enough for a top footballer.

Still I want Barkley to stay. My dogs named after him. And he's from Wavo. And he's our diamond.
 
What if he's actually injured and has already signed a new deal? Widely regarded he's spurs number 1 target so let them waste all summer trying to sign him on the cheap at the end of the window and then announce he's signed a new contract leaving them little time to bring in other targets. Crazy talk.

Mate I couldn't agree more. I think koeman has lost patience with Ross, I think he recognises what we all do, that there is a really talented player in there. But for whatever reason, he is not taking on board what koeman wants. Furthermore our record away at the top teams is poor to say the least. Look at siguardsson's record away at the top teams last season and compare it to ross' sadly there is no comparison. Some would suggest siguardsson isn't as skilful as Ross, maybe he isn't, but he is more consistent and offers more of a threat than Ross.
 
I'm torn with Ross. If he hadn't had that injury before Roberto's 2nd season, we might be looking at a totally different player. He was no longer the fearless lad that we saw endless potential. Fans turned on him and everything that happened afterwards affected him drastically. He needs to get his mojo back one way or another and I wish him luck.

I'm not sure where it all went wrong for him, he use to be full of flicks tricks, runs and unleashing shots but it feels like the last couple of seasons he's turned into a square ball crab with no urgency or flair.
 
Barkley should stay, be part of a more competitive environment and fight for his place. If, through this he improves as a player then we benefit
 

The whole situation is frustrating, we should pull out all the stops to get him tied to a new contract regardless if he is not part of the plan. Sick of not knowing, really poorly handled all round Rrrrrrrrrrrr do one!
 
As a player love him but if he has no intention of signing a contract, the very least he could do is let us the fans and his club know his intentions.....Put in a transfer request, this saga is getting tiresome.
