Again I disagree mate, maybe Ross on his very best day MIGHT be better then Rooney today but we don't see anything like enough of that. Rooney will deliver imo but we can only wait and see.

I actually don't think the talent gap between the 2 was that wide. The big difference was that Rooney had a real winners mentality whilst Ross is mentally fragile

If Sigurdsson is bought this week then I don't see a starting position for Ross. I think he has the ability to force himself a place in the team but it looks like he would start the season on the bench. Much like he would at Spurs.
