Or guess work!Decent post, this.
He's an Evertonian though, who's been with the club since he was a kid, and has been offered a 5 year deal on a reported £100k a week. All the people calling him a judas are the same ones wanting Sigurdson to put in a transfer request.
You could'nt make it up.
Eh?
He has been offered a contract, and he played last season.
The manager has said repeatedly he wants him to stay and a contract wouldn't have been offered otherwise.
Bringing in competition for his place to get to the top 4 where Barkley said he wants to be...
He's gone. Not interacting with other members of the squad. Just a matter of time until fee between clubs can be agreed.
Hopefully we get a good deal for him with add ons and sell on percentage if he does manage to pull his finger out of his you know what and grow a pair.
Let's go and buy some more great players to start the season with a bang!! COYB
Ross linked with Man U now - ready to team up with Lukaku !
Predicted this may happen!
He will be in a decent trophy winning side there! This is good, might help push the price up but I cant see him going to United, after all the times Lukaku threw his hands in the air last season waiting for a pass he will tell them not to bother

Not the same circumstances as Sigurdsson or Rom for that matter, as they have / had no local links with their clubs and thus the fanbase in the same way as a homegrown does.
Also, if he wanted to leave and was good enough to be a guaranteed starter in any of the current CL teams - as Rom obviously was - then I'd be more forgiving, but we all know that he wouldn't be a nailed on starter in any of those clubs current sides.
My point was how is he a judas for seeing out all his contracts, he hasn't seen this one out yet but was told if he didn't re-sign he would be sold. Surely the club would be in the wrong more than Barkley, for not letting him honour his contract.
The lad probably wants a move, but I don't see how he is a Judas.
Players like Osman and Hibbert give their career to the club and are treated disgustingly by a lot of fans.
I suppose the only plus point if he did leave us mate (especially if it's someone like Barca who came in for him) is that it means he will have done well with us. Agree though, he would have a private jet on the runway before the handshakes with Moshiri etc were over.
I think the only reason he will go is because of Koeman and i think he'll tell us this when he does go.

I agree mate. There's a huge inconsistency in stance. But as I am well aware, when it comes to football forum rationalisations, what's sauce for the goose definitely isn't sauce for the gander. All the people calling him a judas are the same ones wanting Sigurdson to put in a transfer request.

You've been doing that for weeks regarding Barkley, not sure it's fair to start criticising others for guessing.Or guess work!
His problem that, not ours, he can come out with any rubbish he likes, a long as our progress carrys on its all good
It is our problem for me, he's better and younger than Sigurdsson and a lot cheaper
