He was really good last night, really good. I think many on here want him to be the next Rodwell so that they can be proved right, he's a proper class above that.

I totally forgot about his leg break that nearly ended his career before it began (that ad reminded me), that's something you never properly get over and it explains why he sometimes jumps out of tackles. Lay off him and he'll become one of the best players we've had in a while.

Most of our fans need to do a lot of 'laying off' mate. Majority just jumping on the band wagon now. Sick of the doom and gloom. We're boss. We've got boss players. We've got boss support on the whole. We play boss stuff. Our keeper is tosh, can't defend, refs hate us.

We're still boss.

Predicted a mass over-reaction to a defeat and it happened - so much so that people even slagged Ross off - despite the fact him being one of the best players on the pitch last night.

People's expectations are always the worst thing for them...

Just fed up of the doom and gloom mate.

At times, we're dead boss. Other times, we're dead bad. A lot of the time, somewhere in between.
Oh for sure we should be boss. Just gutted we aren't. If martinez had us performing like his first season, this could of been an immaculate season

It is just me or does Ross have a tendency to only shoot wih finesse rather then putting his foot through it and hitting it with power.

Just something ive noticed maybe its only me. He just seems to wait to get the ball into position to try and curl rather then hit it with power. Had a great game today. Definitely not having a dig at him either. Have his name on my jersey and is one of my favourite players. Just an observation.

If you remember last season he blazed shots over the bar constantly. Has probably been working on that. He'll settle back somewhere in the middle at some point I expect.

Nice to see him get clapped off by the home fans today too.

Yeah thats true now that you mention it. Was good to see that. Hopefully gives him some confidence for the Geordies visit.
