When Wilshire breaks down 18 mins into our first game and Henderson cant play 3 games in 9 days, he will definitely get some game time.

I can see an argument against assists stats though e.g a perfect dummy doesn't count but a misplaced pass does.

barkley ran the length of the pitch away at Arsenal from their corner think it was the FA cup game last year. Two men couldn't stay with him he hit a great cross which took a slight deflection mirallas or lukaku scored yet he didn't get the assist.

He missed his shot & the ball goes through a crowd of players no one touches it the Joel Campbell scored ozil got the assist.

You really need to view assists for context liverpool's freak season taught me that Henderson was passing to Suarez 25 yards out & suarez bangs it top corner Henderson assist.

He didn't deserve to be in the squad based on recent performances and I'd hoped he could have had the summer off to be fresh for us, tbh.

Aye, at least Wilshere when he isn't injured and trying to get in a fight is a technically good player.

Henderson can't even run around lots because of his injury so other than swearing at the ref am not sure what he is going to bring to the team.

No but he very much deserved to be in the squad based on his performances for most of the season and through qualifying.

Henderson Milner and Wilshere over a player who has starred in a championship winning team. England deserve everything they're going to get when they oh so predictably get swatted aside by the first decent team they meet in France.

delighted for Ross, if he can have a positive tournament it will set him up nicely for next season. At least now i can have a (even if somewhat faint) interest in the national team. hopefully they bin Roy off the moment we're knocked out.
