I still can't believe we won. This is not the time to chastise the players. We played terrific for 70 minutes, Stoke are a very big physical side and I thought we out played them, Limiting them from shooting from distance. Every player played a part yesterday...I'm not having people trying to put a negative slant on 3 points earned. Mental lot.

Stoke are very hard to break down and will stand off and expect you to have to do something special to break their lines, and with the amount of chances we created, thats a great sign for us this season.

Agree about the start I thought him & mirallas played at a higher tempo first half than the majority of the team he put a shift in big time first half & worked his nuts off.

I agree but the thing is he isn't going break up Barry/Gueye and neither would any of us probably. So it's as attacking mid or the bench really..
 

I thought Ross looked a lot fitter and a lot happier but he was quite a bit behind Gueye and Kev in a man of the match performance I thought? Not that i thought Ross did anything wrong, its just that Kev was extra special. Gueye wasnt far behind and Bainsey ahould get an honourable mention as he looked like the Baines of old :)

All in all i cant wait to see what they look like in three months time whn Koeman has them all at peak fitness! I thought is was blatantly onvious yesyerday that Rom is three weeks behind the others fitness wise!

If he can't find a place in the side then it's on him. I think he'd be better for the competition, though.

Thing is a lot of Kev's best moments like the shot that was saved and his cross for Williams involved Ross creating space for him first. Also think it's time to lose the lazy talk. Ross put a shift in and looked out of gas coming off and Rom pressed more today than in 3 seasons. The only thing that is lazy are the people who keep saying that about our players

One good pass doesnt make a game, and there arent any top 4 teams that would be content with their attacking mid having an "okay" game. Thankfully RK isnt telling him how fantastic he was on saturday. Again, its not that he was bad, but he certainly wasnt good today, but thats okay, because its just one game. There isnt a need for the players defenders to rush in and defend after every performance. If Ross is great, his class will show by the end of the season.
