He has no heart. No commitment. No football brain. Dare of say it, no passion, which when playing for your own team is rather worrying. Got all the natural ability in the world. Too lazy and mentally weak to make the most of it. He's not even the best midfielder at Everton at the moment, and we're shabite.

He has been performing poorly for over two years....manager has been here no longer thsn 6 months

He's not played in his best position and never has been apart from a couple of times under Martinez.

He's the creative half of a CM partnership. The thing is though, most teams go for the belt and braces of two destroyers/ratters in CM. he might have to go to an elite club to get the chance on a regular basis to play that far back.

Still without a shadow of a doubt our best player talent wise.

But when he was bigged up by Martinez he went from ex Leeds loanee to England team. I just don't see the logic of me being pulled up by saying he needs a manager who can tell him he's capable of being the best.

It's quite difficult when your team mates are making awful runs or not making space, I suppose he could just play it safe and have a 100% pass completion but he is trying no make things happen.

It does my head in Harry. It's depressing that when we have a poor result this lad is in the cross hairs. Anyone can see he's our jewel in the crown.

Ross Barkely is far from being the real problem here.
