I'd like to see Ross in a side with more players who pass and move into space, generally a midfield with more legs and clever movement. Until then I won't give up on him because there is a player in there.

He doesn't have the footballing brain to play with such players. You see it when he runs with the ball.

We all know there is huge issues with England, a bit like Everton. I know what you are saying though.

No doubt theres a player in there, everyone can see. When he starts giving the ball away when trying a 5 or 10 yard pass that's inexcusable in my book.
Also against Soton how many free kicks did he give away when been muscled off the ball by a smaller man. Another basic thing that is putting the team under pressure so we are not in a position to carry him until he starts getting the basics right . He is one of a number of players that have been poor the last while so I am not singling him out.

In fairness I think he was dropped from the England team more because of his poor form for Everton, not England. In the last few qualifying matches for the euros he was our best player. In the Spain game he was the only English player that showed he belonged in such company, and then against Holland in March he was OK but didn't really respond well to being man marked the whole game. His form hit a wall for Everton after that and hardly been given a chance at International level, which you can understand tbh.
