Haven't spent a spent, haven't replaced our best player and are set to lose our most creative.
It isn't great at the moment. We have improved in certain areas though, Pickford and Keane are good signings.
Very worrying though.
IMO the only way Barkley stays is if Koeman went, and obviously that isn't going to happen.

Koeman only has 2 years left on his deal - IF Ross did a u-turn and signed a new deal he would be here longer than what Koeman will be.
My stance throughout, replacing Lukaku difficult.
Replacing Barkley not as difficult.
As some have rightly pointed out, he was our main link up player with the attack, but in my eyes that is easily fixed, as he is not the only player who can do that job, in fact Klaassen already showing a better first touch and I am pretty sure will be as creative with supplying the strikers, so also taking care of the 8 assists he chipped in with last season.
His paltry 5 goals are easily achieved and he brought little to the table in that respect.
I've said it a few times but I reckon it's more than just the money with Ross, I think there is no relationship between the pair of them, and it's become so strained there is no way back.

We don't know how long Koeman will be the manager and I believe Barkley wanna leave not purely down to the current manager.

I hope he does, the signs are looking good with Koeman as manager, Barkley on the other hand it's looks like he will never be the player we hoped he would be and won't be missed at all.
