Yep that's what I have heard but rumours are rumours same source that stated Rooney was on his way here!
Wait...so that means that it wasn't the Boards fault...it wasn't Ronny's fault...and the protected one was wrong all along???? Wow...just wow!

To be honest I think most of us knew Koeman and the club have no part in this and the situation is all Barkleys fault, its one reason why a lot of us dont care he is going, lad is always going to be a problem for us, get shut, hope away from the game no harm comes his way but the sooner he is gone the better

It's recent events if the board had made his contract up last year- he would have to stay whichI still feel it's the best thing for him as a player for our club!

Shocking this situation, Koeman has handled it bad from the off, however RB has not covered himself in glory. Can't believe the club has not stepped in when it's 2nd biggest valued player has been practically let go for free. The mind boggles, would love to know what has really gone on. Spurs don't really want him, they just want to weaken us and then sell the little scrote back to us for 3 times the price, Ross is thicker than a whale ommlette if he can't see that he is Pienaar mk2.

when did that happen? didn't realise we'd shipped him off for £5m.

He'd be still manager if he'd won it.

sounds like you're happy we didn't win the FA Cup just so our manager got sacked.

Not so sure mate, you have been seduced by Sky Sports Transfer centres and The Echo Videos of Koemans pressers. Sad days.

I have an issue with selling our best players to direct rivals mate without question, its the height of idocey.

if only barkley gave us a presser to actually let his fellow evertonians know what his thinking is. It's his fault, not koeman's.

Haven't spent a spent, haven't replaced our best player and are set to lose our most creative.

It isn't great at the moment. We have improved in certain areas though, Pickford and Keane are good signings.

Very worrying though.

terrible post, gee whiz. Worrying is going down to the last game of the season not knowing if you'll get relegated or not. We're the 7th best team in the whole of england and wales, with a new stadium on the horizon, how the heck is that worrying worthy? Jeez, so much overreactions on this forum lately, why does everything have to be amazing or depressing? No middle ground here.

Joey that cant be right, he either has to get out of the city or he dosent, if he does the local Reggie Kray isnt going to say its ok lad stick around until your contract runs out, the only thing him signing an extension earlier means is we could get a better fee, but even then someone has to want him, right now his stock is rock bottom and we dont even seem to be getting any low ball offers.

Why was his contract not looked at with two years left like Lukaku?
If he wanted out then we could have cashed in big time!

Remaining lengths on contracts are merely bargaining tools. They have no bearing on how long a player will stay. As we'd already put a lazy 50 on his head, I don't think the length remaining would've improved that.

I thought they had one on the table. He didn't sign so Ronny put a timeframe in place & still he didn't sign.

Again, we've put top dollar on his head. If he goes, we're in a strong position to negotiate from a higher fee down...something Swansea fail to grasp I think.
