Why was his contract not looked at with two years left like Lukaku?
If he wanted out then we could have cashed in big time!

Joey...two years ago Lukaku had already said he wanted to leave...so negotiations started with him....a lot earlier than normal. Six months before a contract enters its last year is normal negotiation start time, and is usually ample time. The offer of Barkleys new contract, and 'talks' with the club followed the usual time scale Barkley has been badly advised and if there are outside influences as well, this will result in him leaving, and it is obvious that Barkley does not care what ,if anything, get out of his move. That smacks of desperation on Barkleys part. If he is going to be surrounded by trouble outside football for the rest of his career, he is not worth keeping anyway.

Bill: Ross, lad. Don't you want to play with Rooney?

Ross <staring at floor, embarrassed>: No, I want to win trophies.

Bill: So do we, Ross!

<Ross forgets to look up and dribbles right into a wall of defenders, loses possession, Stoke counterattack and score>

We all predict things, not everything works out the way we hope, no offence to you but every poster has a vision we gave till the end of this month to get in the right players imo!
Ye but you and other posters have been pinning all the blame on Koeman implying he forced Ross out the club. A claim that I and many others have denied and even ridiculed. Now you say it's nothing to do with Koeman or the club, is it not fair to say that you should at least admit you were wrong about Koeman "forcing" Ross out of the club as you and many others have since you obviously got it wrong? (that's according to you remember, since you have no more real evidence to back this claim up then you did your last).

As if he is being run out of the city lol
Do one Rossy boy. And stay away from our women, or..................................................

It may be one thing or an other, but in any event it sad he looks like he's going rumours were rife over Sheedy, if we lose Lukaku, Ross, and Sheedy that's a hattrick blow!

It's sad that an alleged boyhood blue is refusing to remain part of the club for whatever reason but it's all down to him and nobody else. I wouldn't put Ross in the category of the other two though. I'll be slightly disappointed when/if Ross goes but I'll be far more angry that the little snake has screwed us over.
