Ronko masterstroke dropping the kids transfer here
in fairness to Ross, RK is old school; I suggest he's never had a heavy situation like dealing with Liverpool gangsters.
If it's true that Rosscoe's been given til the window slams shut for him to 'sling his hook', I can understand why there's a bit of a generational impasse.

I hesitate to say this, but perhaps Bobby would be a better people's person to deal with this Scorcese like scenario.

Did we make a mistake in firing Bobby?

I still think we should offer Ross a bumper contract and then say we'll loan him out for a year, to Newcastle or some such club, so that he gets a year away from Koeman

Either Koeman will be gone in a year or a year away will give things a chance to detoxify and the two can start afresh going forward for the 18/19 season

But your presuming that Barkley wanting to move is down to Koeman. What if that's not the underlining problem. The club have offered Ross and bumper contract which he turned down. I agree with your idea in theory as I'm sure Koeman will be gone within the next two season's but I remain unconvinced that Ross will sign anything. The only way I can see Barkley signing a new contract is if the transfer window shuts and nobody has come in for him as he'd be faced with a year with the kids without a new deal.

Stop. Just stop.

Danny Rose name droppig Ross

“Mauricio is a world-class manager and I can only voice my opinion - as a Tottenham ‘fan’ for the last six months," he said.

“But hearing Ross Barkley might be available, well I have played with and against Ross and bringing him through the door, in itself, would be a huge boost.

“I’m a huge fan. I terms of physical stature, right and left foot and trying to get him off the ball, he’s like Mousa Dembele.

“If Ross wants to push on to the next level, Mauricio Pochettino is the best manager to do that – just look how many players he has got into the England squad.”

This is what I see happening. All the "blues" saying how crap he is.....we will see.

Starting to smell and look like the lad has been tapped up by Spurs and fancies it.

This stinks, for all of you defending him you need to take a reality check.

"Oh but he's an Evertonian, it's a disgrace we are letting a boyhood blue walk out the door" etc etc ........my arse! he is turning his back on the club, after all his verbal diarrhea he spouted about how he felt when Rooney left. Can do nothing but hope his career goes badly Wilshire!

Quotes from our former Captain, Phil Neville:

“He’s leaving Everton Football Club. Ronald Koeman has said that,” said Neville. “I think he’s a top, top player and I think he needs to play for one of the top clubs in the Champions League.

“If you look at clubs go to, managers to play for, I can only see one - and that’s Mauricio Pochettino.

“I think Jose (Mourinho) likes ready-made (players) and I can’t see him joining Manchester United. Will he develop at Arsenal or Chelsea? I think Tottenham’s the only club for him.

“I think Ross Barkley has to choose the right manager, someone who is going to improve him and challenge him, and more importantly someone who is going to coach him and make him a better footballer.

“Pochettino is that man.

“I think there are enough games and opportunities at Tottenham where he can fit in.

“He needs to be taken out of his comfort zone.

“He has got the ability to step up.”

Sorry, but from what I have seen of Ross over the last few years, he is light years away from being able to play for a Champions League side.

Danny Rose telling Ross to sign for Spurs, then saying him and his team mates are not paid what they are worth, the squad is crap and hints that they wont win a trophy in his career. Some pursuasive talk there.
