It's a pity Arsenal got a late winner last night. As I think the pressure would have been heightened for them to be in the market for Barkley. As it is hopefully Chelsea and Spurs will get into a bidding war.

Hahahaha the excuses going in early... Weird ones as well.

If he's a 'bargain' at around £30m, then he's a good enough player for those clubs isn't he?

Also, if he isn't good enough, then any fee wouldn't be a bargain as he won't improve the side he's going to.

Nah. The idea that Koeman said he'll sell him at the end of last season and he's got 12 months left on his contract, means we won't get much.

He's not the only good player in the league with 12 months left that don't have clubs queueing up Difference is, their managers haven't said they have to be sold.
 
Love Ross and think he's a great player but no top clubs have an urgent need for him they may not mind waiting a year to try and get him on a potential free. Read a few Spurs fans posts on twitter want them to go for other targets and get Barkley for free next year...

That won't happen. He'd sign a new deal if he doesn't go, because the alternative is a year in the reserves in a tournament year. Even Barkley isn't that thick.

Clubs who want him won't risk it. He'll go before the window closes.

Would it make much difference? He's not getting in England squads already when he was playing for Everton every week.

For what it's worth I think there's a very good player in there. Just think him and Koeman are a bad match, personality clashes like this happen in work places.
