Like I've said from the beginning I don't think we are his destination. Even though personally I'd like him.

Chelsea or Arsenal will panic into buying him by the end of the window.

You've got a 21 man squad and most of the press think you'll finish outside the top 4. Think there'll be more panic from your end

lol

In all seriousness mate, and I'm not winding you up or anything, but I think you should re-read what you typed, because quite clearly you didn't say what you think you've said.

Honestly.

Also, you're*

I said the reason he is going is not because he's good enough

But because they are getting a bargain

Your completely reading it wrong

Not really anything new for us though. We were overwhelmingly predicted to finish 6th last season as well. We could spend £200m and we would still be predicted 6th. English press like their established order.

We should be making 2-3 signings in the next few days.

Yes, that was what I took it as! Then you said I read it wrong, now you're agreeing me, after typing this.

Wh... what are you doing ffs?!

So not once did I state he wasn't good enough. I said he is good enough but that's not the reason he's going.

I think Ross thought that there would be a lot more interest than there has been, probably based on enquiries from top clubs, but enquiries dont always mean bids.

If Alli or Kane were in the same situation now, clubs wouldnt be waiting it out, there would have been a huge battle and they would be at another team by now.

I put Ross in the Oxlade-Chamerlain/Walcott bracket. Be nice to have as another option and can be quality on a given day, however just not enough quality or consistency for clubs to pay £30mill to start a scramble for their signature.

Find it so odd that a team that finished 2nd thought to themselves 'nah, we're good, don't need any new faces'.

I know allll about your wage structure and that stuff as one of me best mates is a Spurs supporter. Think going to Wembley was the worst thing you could have done honestly. THIS was your year and you're going to be playing in a gigantic stadium y'all are terrible are at.

That's a very short term view of the situation though. We have spent 100s of millions over the years buying land around White Hart Lane, fighting court battles and begging for planning position. Cancelling it would have been extreme short term thinking.

The stadium will help ensure we have a better chance of success for years to come.

But...theres been NO inclination that Levy will be changing the wage structure once the new place comes next year. Yeah, Danny Rose is a tit but he's not exactly wrong.

Of course the wages will go up proportionally to any increase in turnover. Our wage structure is out in the open for anybody to see and has been for years, it remains where it has done since Levy took over roughly 50% of turnover like all well run clubs.

When our match-day revenue and turnover goes up so will the wages. Levy runs the club like a company he won't be pressured by players or the English media into changing it.

To be honest our wage bill is the 11th largest in Europe, the attack on our wage structure has been idiotic to be honest. We don't even underpay.
