That's down to Spurs or anyone else willing to pay up for him really isn't it? If nobody is willing to pay a fair price for then we should keep him around as a matter of principle.

Four or five months ago this was the doomsday scenario predicted for Everton by the media.

Would love Ross to stay but if he's that keen to go then fair enough. Our new signings don't look out of place and hopefully get a new striker on board we will have a great season.

The only way that happens now is if nobody comes in for Ross or isn't willing to pay enough. He's made it clear through his actions this summer how much he wants out. I can't see Ross staying long term now. Even if he does sign a new deal out of necessity he'll be looking for a move first chance he gets.
