WRD slavering on saying he wants to stay now
'Been told he wants to stay. Not sure fully on whether he signs a new deal or till he sees out his remaining contract term but seems happy to carry on.

Looking at some Portuguese defender, think he's in his late twenties.'

Are there any decent Portuguese defenders? Ffs.

Sky sports news just mentioned Arsenals previous big deadline days.
Just said Ross could go there.
Then they mentioned the £10m late, late deal for Arteta.

Light laughter in my living room from three of us. We were all thinking the same, but it didn't need saying.

Koeman will look a fool if we sell him late for a ridiculous fee

I'm not ross's biggest fan... but he's is much better than the oz imo
Yeah mate. I do myself to be honest.
Just trying to say/emphasise that we should at least get the same price if not more for Ross (should he be sold). Somehow don't think we will though. I'd still like him to sign a new contract, but resigned to him going. If so, need to get best deal possible and not be taken for a ride.

Still cant see him playing infront of 40,000 Everton fans who are all aware that he doesnt want to be here and he's running down his contract to leave on a free.

Ross was getting slated by the crowd every few minutes when he was playing well for us and pretending to be a big blue.

I dread to think how the Goodison faithful will react to him now.

I agree... thinknhes a superior player to ox.... but we won't receive a similar fee imo

I think with Rooney back at Everton - Ross may feel he has someone who can stand up to the manager and protect him.
Personally, I will be happy if he stays but he needs to start delivering big time from the get go.

Protect him? Are you serious?

Think it'd be the opposite. Rooney convincing him to listen to the gaffer and realize his potential.

Not convinced that the manager has the support of all the players thus Rooney is a local lad and has the credit in the bank to back players.
