Cos we can, and we might not want to be seen to bow the knee to Levy, nor Ross, for that matter.

Plus, how on earth can anyone know the state of his injury in January? It could flare up in rehab for all we know.

No, we can't. It's business, pure and simple. We would do the same to another club given half the chance.

What you're saying is absolutely insane. No club in the world would write off £15m just to cokblock a player from going to the World Cup.

I'm pig sick about what he/they are doing to us. But practically, there's nothing we can do.

I live in Wavertree and have seen Ross several times. Would love the chance to ask him wtf he is doing.

Ross said he didn't have a medical

The owner has gone on TV and stated he did have a medical

Someone is lying and it's a complete embarrassment

I've no idea what happened although i imagine if Ross did have a medical he is probably now saying he didn't as if he did go for a medical it would make it very difficult for him to be around the first team again

It's clear he wants to go to Spurs who wouldn't match 35m and Ross knows he can get better wages in January as it will be a lower fee

Ross just go I don't want to see you at finch farm ever again

And Moshiri please don't go on Sky TV talking to Jim White of all people. It's a complete embarrassment someone at the club should tell Moshiri he can't be doing it. Why does he love Jim so much? It's weird! He knows more than the fans and it's not on

..not sure he'll get better wages in January, Spurs have a strict salary ceiling. Indeed, it's reported he'd be on more money at Everton. I think his salary and signing fee at Chelsea would have been better.

It's a very odd decision he's made. He's either banking on Spurs, signing his contract offer here or seeing out his time.

..you're right, Jai, but I like what I see. He goes past players and eats up ground like Barkley but he looks like he's got that bit of quality in the top third with his passing ability. You are entirely right that I'm basing my view on a hunch of watching him a few times.
I am in the same camp as you Eggs. I thought he looked a very good player. I hope this all works out well.

No, we can.

Whether we will, who knows, but the point is that Ross has absolutely no control over his WC chances now. Not even a little bit.

Which was the point I was referencing, "if he shows some form he could be in the squad".

The medical comments only come from Moshiri, and we all know he's a liar by now for many reasons.

Not a conspiracy either based on "net spend" or anything either - unless you believe James McCarthy wasn't sold and Sissoko wasn't bought because good ol' James is "family", then Moshiri is a confirmed liar.
Doubt we'll ever know the real truth about McCarthy and the family connection, but it was fairly widely reported Sissoko didn't and never did want to come to Everton.

..watch his performance in both Derbies, Joey. I so much want the lad to be good but he lets us down too often. It's ok to pick out that 1-0 but they are few and far between.

His performance in the first Derby was mad. Never such a talented lad overawed by the occasion as much as him. Probably summed up our team.

Do take issue with him 'letting us down' overall though. It's always been difficult for him in the bigger games because we're set up quite defensively and he has very little to play off. Unless you're one of the very best in the business it's a difficult role to play.

Anyway, that's all academic. Still can't get over the lack of respect he's shown towards us. Hopefully we dish it out to him in equal measure.

..give a top player the football and he makes something happen. No excuses. Henderson didn't break sweat at Goodison and Barkley ended up kicking him.

I agree with some people that the Koeman factor is being played up a bit. I don't think Koeman is a mean or tough boss only .He would have happily made Barkley Captain and built the team around him if that had been matched by Barkley's performances and attitude. I hope we get to know the whole story one day. I think whatever else Koeman is we can count on him being blunt, and not really caring about other people's emotions, so he won't have dressed anything up about Ross
