A fully fit and motivated-to-play-again-for-Everton Ross Barkley would waltz back into the first team imo.
Agreed, Koeman got excellent form out of him last season, often from wider positions, no reason why he can't play to one side of Sigurdsson.

Unfortunately, I'm convinced his heart/head is already set on Spurs.
 
Ron has brought Niasse back into the circle of trust .... you never know
Trouble is, I think it needs Ross to make the first move...
or maybe even ACAS to get involved to resolve the situation...

The Rooney situation at the time was painfully different.

I'm not sure he genuinely knows what he wants... and he sure can't guarantee it would work out either.

Pienaar wanted Spurs and boy, did that backfire.

Aye, of course he would. He might not start every game, but he'd give us something we lack at the moment which is the ability to run at defenders with the ball at your feet.

The ball is very much in Ross' court though, or at least it will be when he's fit.
