I think his biggest asset was the way he could control a ball at his feet running at pace, that was down to him being two footed, it's one of the hardest things to do in the game well, and he can.
But he has not done it as much as he use to, he's got in the habit of ball retention and short neat passing in triangles, which is all very nice, but the way he could take players on with the ball at feet was a major asset and it set him apart from a lot of other young midfielders.
Long long time since he did anything like this.
He's a better now than he was when he scored that goal.
For 3 seasons he's been our main creative player and play maker. Games were always pinned on him and Rom playing well to get us results and goals.
