Even a poor out of form Ross Barkley would still walk into this team and affect it positively. He wants the ball all the time, and can hold it up well, even though I know it can be frustrating at times. It is exactly what this team needs rather than sideways passing and no one showing for a pass. It's ironic that the period he has been missing is probably the time we need him most.

I have definitely heard worse where I sit for Ross than Cleverley. Ross gets slaughtered by a few people by me, even on a good day. I think it's purely down to the fact that the expectancy level was lower for Cleverley, so people couldn't be bothered to berate Cleverley.
