That's pretty stupid don't you think... I would love him to be our captain etc amd try to be everything I hoped he and Rooney would be when I first seen them play... I just don't think he is though that's all

I'd like to be wrong on this because we're very poor and he'd improve us, but I don't see this changing anything. To me it just seemed that Koeman was a convenient excuse for wanting out. But let's hope Unsworth or the new manager talk him round into putting pen to paper.

TBH I'd hope someone, whether its Unsworth or whoever, tries playing him up top - he has all the attributes to do it and it would deal with some of his weaknesses. We could integrate him back into the side and it would solve our biggest problem area.
