If he's fit he will play if the manager wants him to. Could be a deal has already been agreed and Everton don't want him to play as part of that deal though, incase he gets injured and the sale gets cancelled.

It's not ten months mate... it's 5 ... he will not have the balls to play for us again... time will tell but I don't think he will sign for anyone . He won't make the World Cup anyway and an extra 10-15m for 5 months of waiting is insane money..

He had an operation on his hamstring injury, which is why the recovery is longer.

I've had a hamstring injury when I was about 18, it kept me out for six months. My dad tore his hamstring and hasn't been able to run since. It's one of the worst injuries you can get.

Factor in he had no extensive pre-season training then the most he can probably do even now is a bit of light training and low impact stuff (i.e. like he was cycling 6 weeks ago).

He may well leave in January, but he's definitely not fit.

Did he snap his hamstring getting out of bed or something? He hasn't trained or played any football since last season, where's this injury come from?

If you believe some of the stuff on here mate, it was a result of torture at the hands of gangsters, following him getting caught with the wrong lady.

Or, it was a result of being a finely tuned young athlete, playing footy.

Oh aye yeah, that was all about 6 weeks ago. Still he hasn't trained with the squad or played in a reserve game for match fitness. "He's injured" just doesn't cut it at the moment, there's more to this.
