I think the 21 yr old tracksuit wearing bike peddling gangsta story can be put to bed after he refused to move on deadline day.
It’s either about money or he feels he can win trophies somewhere else.
It’s a poor reflection on him and to an extent the club that no one has made a definitive statement on the situation
My gut feeling based on nothing is that he’s Spurs bound but Levy wants him on a free or on a nominal fee.
That may all change now as it looks like there are rumblings in the Spurs camp

Talk of Poch going to replace Zidane because I can’t see Madrid’s hierarchy being happy with current performances and league standing
Madrid have been linked with bids for Kane and Ali in the past and unless Spurs win a trophy this year there may be changes at Spurs
The new stadiums rising costs are also a financial problem for Spurs.
What ROSS will do only he knows but my feeling is Spurs in Jan.

Did he snap his hamstring getting out of bed or something? He hasn't trained or played any football since last season, where's this injury come from?

He picked it up last season - which is why he withdrew from the international fixtures in June, which he then aggravated early pre-season. I did read that it was initially diagnosed as a groin strain, but that the actual problem is with the very top of his hamstring.

Came back to training and aggravated it again. This time they decided to perform surgery to try and get to the root cause of the issue - his hamstring.

Oh aye yeah, that was all about 6 weeks ago. Still he hasn't trained with the squad or played in a reserve game for match fitness. "He's injured" just doesn't cut it at the moment, there's more to this.

He has trained with the squad.

He's back in with them in the last week or so I think.

But he's not fit. Similar to Coleman and Bolasie.

There's certainly more to the entire situation, but he has been recovering from an injury and operation. It's not big cover up.

If Spurs - for example - think Ross may help them secure top four or a trophy, they will probably think £20m is worth the outlay.

There's a good chance Alli won't be there come September.
