2017/18 Ross Barkley

He can P off on January 1st.

The fact Koeman has gone and the fact we've been through a very difficult period shouldn't change the fact that Barkley clearly wanted out in the summer, clearly doesn't believe in the club's future and clearly isn't the sort of player we can rely on to help us kick onto to big things. For all his faults I was 100% behind RK on this issue, he was right to get tough on Barkley and start demanding more. And when Barkley didn't deliver he right to first prod, then drop him.

I hate all this sentimental "he's one of us and we should love him" crap. He's not improved as a player since the 13/14 season. For 3 years he had a manager who bleated on about how exceptional he was and it still didn't get the best out of him on a consistent basis. Then he had manager who tried to motivate him with tough love and he only got even less reliable.

It's time to just go lad, enough of this wishy-washy crap. Yes we've missed him from our starting XI this season but we don't need him long-term. Sigurdsson is finding his form, Davies is growing as a player, Klaassen may yet come good and Rooney is still a match-winning player. Barkley doesn't want to be here and the only reason he still is that he bottled a move to London and cost us about £20m. Nice one.

Defo need to keep him until end of the season (unless we agreed £30m already to leave in Jan)

It's like Ruud Hullit talking in-directly about Big Dunc all over again, knowing the deal is done already.
Not much point in keeping him if he wants out . If he's getting over an injury, it will take him the rest of the season to get up to speed .

How and when did I say I have the inside track? If you're going to post on Internet forums it might be a good idea at actually read other people's posts correctly.

I said (tounge in cheek) that professional footballers are to soft these days.

I mentioned that I once ruptured my MCL and didn't miss a game (which is true) but it did take me 6 months to recover . Just so happened it was last game of the season... so what I said was factually correct as there were no games actually played in those six months.

Now with regard to trying to "guilt people financially" you are the main person that is throwing insults my way. I don't like being called a liar and therefore was willing to prove I'm not. I said loser pays a charity not to guilt someone but because I didn't want to anyone to think I was trying to make any money.

I'm not going to talk about this again after this post.

You and the rest of the "Ross is going to sign save our season and be as good as all scholes" brigade are entitled to your opinions. Mine is different...I have no agenda and most of the stuff you post in my direction is complete rubbish.

I have never said I have the "inside track on ross"
I do t hate him
I have no agenda against him

I just do t think he's as good as you make out.. it's really that simple

you defo need to hold back on your bizarre hatred of barkley, your head is falling clean off here terry, it isn't good for you

I don't hate him lol but if he does run his contract down and doesn't play again.. inwill wish him a very short and dire career

If he hasn't signed by Jan 1st then theres no option but to sell him.

Ive even stopped thinking about him as an Everton player...

There’s the option to keep him for final 6 months, which is exactly what Arsenal have said they are doing with Sanchez and Ozil despite the fact they could make far more money than we could off Barkley,

Totally agree with this, he has messed us about long enough with this 5 month hamstring injury, make sure he has no chance of a World Cup place

I thought Gosling was bad, this fella has taken it up a level, pretending to be injured for half a year so he can get a payday and screw over his boyhood club.

If it’s a pretend injury then the club will have had more say in it than him. He’s not going to fake an injury to the medical team... it will have almost certainly been the clubs idea.
