Exactly this. If we're happy to give Koeman a massive payoff, Martinez too, then hand Allardyce a massive contract, I really hope we'd rather hold him for 6 months when he's desperate to leave, rather than 'cash in' for a nominal fee. Ruin his world cup chances (not that I think he's got any) then make him train with the under 8s for half a year. If he wants to treat us with comtempt after making him a multi millionaire, then we can do the same for at least a few months. The horrible rat.

Hammies do deceleration not speed. I'm not worried about him losing his pace, I'm more concerned with the likelihood of him reinjuring that hammy. There will be huge amounts of scar tissue there presumably which has far less strength and structural integrity than normal muscle fibres.

I have to admit that I thought Barkley was pulling the wool over all our eyes and there wasn't as much of an injury as had been suggested but if you look at the scar running down the back of his hamstring on the echo it looks horrendous. If that was caused by one of our own physios like Eggs has said previously he should have been bulletted!!
