We'd rather abuse you away. Wonder what will work.

And @Blue Pride of Brum

Tis almost the season of goodwill so whilst you may not agree on very much, for the sake of world peace, can we ease up on the "who's the hardest keyboard warrior" behaviour please.

This is the gentle, warm and benevolent hand of moderation reaching out on a cold, wintry day.

never been a Barkley hater, he's one of our best players, but secretly believed he was hanging this out for his january move. Having seen that scar it must have been a catostrophic hamstring to cause that. Hope the lad gets back to his best for us or whoever.

We will be lucky to sell him for any cash with that injury, be surprised if he can still cut it in the premier league. That looks like he will keep having problems, bold move turning Chelsea and us down. He best hope it holds out.

Yup, players are never quite the same after bad injuries like that, just look at McCarthy who's never been right after he did his, don't think his was as bad as Ross either

McCarthy probably played with it and was rushed back. Ross has had as much time as he needed and will not be rushed. McCarthy seems the type to get niggles from niggles.

I know he will probably leave and he has been one of the most talented yet frustrating players to pull on the shirt in many a year, however; does anyone think he could reinvent himself as a striker? I'm thinking in the same vein as Firmino for the RS.

He said that he thought it was his best position under Martinez and his ability to draw players to him may create opportunities for our wide players to score more often...

Just need some decent wide players!!!

What a are people's thoughts? He isn't going to get into the Chelsea and Spurs teams if he leaves....
