But the injury is to his leg, not his wrist.

He doesn't need to be "fit" to sign any deal he was minded to sign.

McCarthy probably played with it and was rushed back. Ross has had as much time as he needed and will not be rushed. McCarthy seems the type to get niggles from niggles.
