The way our fans are recently, with the hysterical booing and heckling of players. I wouldn't want to play at Goodison. Genuinely.

I hate him for it because I'm supposed to but if I had the choice of being boo'ed every week by Everton fans for £100k a week or playing in London for £150k a week I would choose the latter.

Damn right you are, these idiots that boo make me sick. There are an awful lot of so called fans out there that don't deserve a club to support, not just Everton supporters but across the whole board. Not happy, stay the hell away. Let the genuine core 'Supporters' support.

I've just learned to accept it. It's a shame he is leaving, and I'm not as fond of him as I once was, but I'm a bit bothered by the lack of class of some of the fans in general. FWIW Barkley is just as responsible as the club/fans for this fiasco.

To be honest I'll learn to accept it, it will just take me longer that's all. Our best homegrown player since Rooney. What I can't stand though is our fans making excuses for him, no offence meant in my previous posts pal.

No offence taken friend. We are probably better off in the long run if he leaves as I don't think he could ever reach his potential here. He has too many mental hurdles/demons to conquer, and he comes across as an anxious footballer (which is not a good trait for an athlete to have). It's a shame this couldn't be resolved peacefully, but Ross didn't speak up and decided at the last minute he wouldn't go to Chelsea (which screwed us a bit).

I've got no sympathy towards the club on any lost revenue for the kid leaving so late on in his contract tbh, the amount that's been slashed up the wall on average players, and managers... If we were financially in the poo then maybe but now I'm just ambivalent to the situation, I mean I've got more anger over spending 40 odd mill on Sigurdsson, and 20 odd on klaasen.

I'd rather have a career to be proud of - 16 appearances for City does not a proud career make.

It was actually completely embarrassing against Man United , the reaction to the first misplaced pass of the game after 6 minutes. if I were Wayne Rooney I would have just booted the ball as hard as I could into the stands and retired.
