Chelsea are taking him because they can get him relatively cheaply, and probably believe they can get more out of him. And, of course, he will supplement their squad for the CL.

Genuinely baffles me as to what our fans think is happening.

if anyone thinks our players go home after a game thinking anything other than "them lot in the stands are bad bad blerts" after we have a hissing sesh then they're deluded

Steven Pienaar said this in 2013:
